In 11/26's Gaudium, we were introduced to the HVVEG, the charity for education which Victoria Spottisworth-Gack (nee Saunterton) is so heavily involved in, along with her family. Let's have a look at what Aloysius learned from his wife's involvement in this group, as well as from the lessons he gets from the daily running of his cherished pub, The Pig & Trebuchet. Innumerable events are held there, many of them at lunchtime and not even involving beer; events that connect people within the community of Parsons Green and beyond in ways that deepen ties- and make good things happen.
