One of our younger patients is an avid Batman fan, and I believe he will always have healthy teeth after I showed him this delightful and supremely motivational clip:

I've always had a special place in my heart for the uber-campy 1960s Batman TV series. Which, by the way, my young patient calls "Happy Batman." A telling comment on the current state of our pop culture indeed.
Here's a snippet (lovely word, that) of the dialog from this outrageous scene in which Robin, hands bound behind his back, grabs the Bat Rope with his teeth after the Riddler throws him off the ledge of a skyscraper:
"You alright, Robin?"
"Holy molars! Am I ever glad I take good care of my teeth."
"True. You owe your life to dental hygiene. If only more people..."
And then the criminals intervene, demanding the Caped Crusader's immediate attention.

For me, it's the little "if only more people" coda that elevates this scene to camp genius.
